Single malt whiskey barrel "Napoleon 1812" - approx. 110 liters
The barrel has the following properties
Oak barrel made of German oak
Planted during Napoleon's time in 1812 and grown on red sandstone in the Palatinate Forest.
The oak tree unfortunately reached the end of its life and was felled in 2014, after 202 years!
A so-called "Medium Plus Toast" was applied to the wood over an oak wood fire and then a Char IV was applied using gas (this means that the whiskey gets a dark color and tastes smoky, vanilla, slightly sweet, and woody).
The barrel has a volume of approximately 110 liters
From June 2015 to June 2020 filled with Moonshine Whiskey
Then topped with maple syrup from Canada from December 2020 to January 2022
There are only 4 of them in total
